Steven Miller, Principal Designer

Steven Miller founded Steven Miller Design Studio in 1999. After six years as an associate designer with Gary Hutton Design in San Francisco, Steven’s singular vision, passion for design, and personable nature inspired him to launch his own firm. Though eclectic in his style, Steven is heavily influenced by the work of twentieth and twenty-first century designers, including Billy Baldwin, Gio Ponti, Pierre Chareau, Shelton & Mindel, Christian Liagre, Edward Wormley, and Jack Lenor Larsen.

Paige Rowntree, Design Associate

Paige is a Star! Her interest in Architecture and Design came early when she was assigned to construct a 3D model of her bedroom out of sugar cubes. Earning a BFA in Studio Arts at the University of Arizona / Tucson she focused on hand built pottery and Art History. Having turned her attention to materials of permanence, upon graduation she began sculpting environments with the renowned New York interior design firm Pierce Allen. With 3 years of design experience under her belt, Paige had the opportunity to hone her skills with a paid, year long sabbatical in Cape Town, South Africa where she gained experience and a fearlessness that informs her work today. Upon her return to New York, Paige spent 3 years designing and managing projects for Kari McCabe Inc. With years of experience in high-end design in New York City as well as Cape Town, Paige is a seasoned professional, though we like to refer to her as our “secret weapon”. Paige gets it done—with style!

Adrienne LaBelle, New York Design Associate

With a firm grip on the NYC design scene, Adrienne aids and guides clients through creating a vision with character, whimsy, and sophistication. After years of projects ranging from full apartment renovation to color consulting as well as custom designs, Adrienne’s genius extends to high-end project management, furniture sourcing, finish production, and drafting. Her career was launched by a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and includes work for prestigious firms Pierce Allen Architects and Bruce Bierman Design. She also worked as assistant art director for stage productions ranging from the MTV Music Video Awards to The Home Shopping Network.

Jennifer Li, Project Coordinator

Coordinating every project whether in-house or client service, Jennifer keeps all of our “i’s dotted and t’s crossed”—if ever you have a question, Jennifer is a great place to start.

Robert Hendrickson, Design Assistant

With an eye for detail and a knack for organization, Robert wears the mantle of "intern" proudly. While his previous work experience has taken him from the high desert of New Mexico to the lush greeness of Oregon, the trappings of design (e.g., heavily textured fabrics and Dutch designers, Droog), brought him to his first indoors job. He graduates in the Spring with a degree in furniture design from California College of the Arts.

Lesli Owen, Draftsperson

Years of experience in commercial and residential design have made Leslie a CAD wiz. She possesses excellent detailing skills and interfaces well with everyone on the team, including contractors and subs.
