Are you feeling it? Spring is just around the corner and with it comes one of San Francisco's best annual events: the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, and we're thrilled to be contributing our talents for the second year in a row!

We conceived last year's bathroom as a fresh, modern twist on tradition, and this year's guest bedroom will expand that theme and sensibility. Our bedroom will offer an updated and eclectic take on classic French in this gorgeous Beaux Arts mansion in Presidio Heights—you'll just want to show up with your Vuitton steamer trunk and move right in.

The Showcase runs from April 29-May 29. You can visit Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-3pm; Thursdays 10am-7pm; Sundays and Memorial Day 11am-4pm. General admission is $30, and no advance reservations are needed.

This is our last announcement for a couple months (unless, of course, we have something big to share). But before we leave your inbox, here's what we're up to:

What we're watching: Godard's "Breathless." (Oh… and American Idol. Go Katharine!).
What we're midnight snacking on: Popcorn is king, especially with sea salt and yeast flakes.
